These are not normal times. Communities across Colorado are navigating levels of stress, loss, and uncertainty that demand something different from the organizations meant to serve them. Resilient Colorado’s trauma-informed trainings were built for exactly this.
We work across sectors because the people you serve don’t live in silos, and real change requires collaborative, community-wide solutions. Our training partners span nonprofits, youth-serving and community-based organizations, healthcare, public health, first responders, schools, tribal and government agencies, and treatment and recovery programs. We serve communities across the full continuum of care, and we will meet you where you are.

NEW: Understanding Eating Disorders through a Trauma-Informed Lens
A trauma-informed training for helping professionals who want to better understand eating disorders, body image, wellness, and how to show up with more compassion, curiosity, and care.
Eating disorders and disordered eating are more common and more complex than many people realize, and they are not defined by body size alone. This training offers an approach to understanding how food, body image, movement, shame, identity, and grief intersect.

Cultural Humility
Global and national events over the last few years have highlighted inequities that have existed for generations. This training brings a trauma-informed approach to equity and cultural humility. We will explore the impact of micro-aggressions (insidious trauma) and implicit bias. We will also consider the interconnected relationship between trauma, equity, and resilience.

Resilient Caregivers
Research into resilience shows us that nurturing relationships in early childhood are a key factor in overcoming adversity.
The quality and stability of these relationships in early years lay the foundation for healthy growth and development. Resilient Caregivers is offering education and support for caregivers as they foster safe, kind, relational environments for children. This education and support serve as prevention against future Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), a source of healing from past pain, and help for coping with current stressors. Includes group and peer-to-peer training.
